All Nativity of Our Lord parishioners are invited to pray a Pentecost Novena. The nine days of prayer will prepare us to celebrate a major feast of the Church, the Descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and Our Lady, and to all of us through Baptism and Confirmation.
We’ll pray for particular gifts of the Holy Spirit that will empower our continued participation in the Archdiocesan Synod, since each parish will be preparing to launch new faith-based small groups next Lent.
This year, we invite you to pray daily on your own, when it is most convenient for you. For example, you might pray with your family at a meal or before bedtime, or by yourself, or with a group of neighbors.
The Novena prayers and intentions will be delivered via a daily email sent to those who sign up by Tuesday, May 16.
