Jubilee Walking Pilgrimage

To mark the Jubilee Year of Hope, Nativity Parishioners are taking a walking pilgrimage to our local Pilgrimage Site: The Cathedral of St. Paul

Join others at dawn on Saturday, May 17th as we set out on a 4.5 mile walk to the Cathedral.

This pilgrimage is part of an opportunity to obtain a special Jubilee Plenary Indulgence. See the main Jubilee page at https://www.nativitystpaul.org/jubilee for more information on Jubilee Indulgences and the requirements.


Our schedule will be as follows:

• 5:30am: Meet at Nativity for:
  • A fervorino
  • Gathering of intentions
  • Grab-n-go breakfast items
• 5:45am: Set out for the Cathedral
• Approx 6:45am: arrive at the halfway point, the Handmaids of the Heart of Jesus Convent on Summit Ave
  • If you would like to walk half of the route, please meet us outside the Handmaids' House by 6:45am
  • Address: 1142 Summit Ave
  • We'll talk a small break outside before heading out again
• 7am: Depart from Handmaids to Cathedral
• Aprrox 7:50am: Arrive at Cathedral
• 8am: Daily mass at Cathedral
• After mass: Personal prayer time
• 8:55am: Group prayer together before departing
• 9am: Depart by bus for Louisiana Cafe for breakfast 
  • (meals at cafe not provided by Nativity)
• 11am: Approximate arrival back to your starting point 
  • (Nativity or Handmaids' House)

The first 40 people to sign up will have a guaranteed spot at breakfast and a ride back to your starting point after breakfast.

Any signups after that are welcome to join us for the pilgrimage, but you must arrange your own transportation back to your starting point.
